COUPLES MANCHESTER PHOTOGRAPHY SHOOT
When I met up with Melissa and Dom at Abel Heywood during their lunch hour, I knew immediately that I wanted to photograph their wedding at Victoria Warehouse. Both were super chilled about their wedding and I could tell that their family and friends being with them on their special day were the most important aspects of the wedding.
I mentioned the pre-wedding shoot, to which I think both were a little nervous. As I explained, the whole reason I recommend a pre-wedding shoot it to get over those nerves, learn to relax in front of the camera and also to get to know one another a bit better. I think of the pre-wedding/engagement shoots as a warm up before the big day, enabling me to give a bit of guidance on how best to stand together whilst being photographed.
We met up for the shoot in the Northern Quarter and wondered around grabbing great photo opportunities by using the urban streets and graffiti as a backdrop. We stopped for drinks during the shoot and chatted about the wedding plans before heading back out to the streets. By the end of it, I knew they had relaxed as they both said how glad they were that they had done it and how they now felt better about having their photographs taken on the day. They even know the most impotent shot “almost but not quite” 😉
Guys I can’t wait to photograph your wedding on the 9th June 2018 at Victoria Warehouse. See you there xx
