STYLED WORKSHOP AT ODDFELLOWS ON THE PARK
REAL LIFE COUPLE // AMY + DAVE
When I saw the opportunity to attend the styled workshop with Shoot Joy Workshops I jumped at the chance. Not only because I have heard raves reviews about the workshop but also because I couldn’t wait to shoot at this new wedding venue in the grounds of Bruntwood Park in Cheadle.
I have visited Bruntwood Park on many occasions with my children, to have fun on the play area, play football on the park and enjoy hot chocolate’s afterwards in the gorgeous little coffee shop. I had often noticed the building which is part of the mansion and has now been converted into Oddfellows On the Park, hotel, restaurant and wedding venue.
It’s lovely to see that people can hold the full wedding all under one roof at this venue, as they are fully licensed for weddings and civil ceremonies and also have a hotels rooms so you can just flop into bed at the end of the night.
From the outside you can see that this is an amazing building, but be prepared to be wowed when you enter the enter the inside, as they quote themselves “it’s a hotel with character charm and a little bit of odd !”
I think if anyone is looking for a wedding venue as unique as they are, with a little bit of odd and quirkiness, then this could be the venue for you.
On the workshop, we were joined by our real life couple Amy and Dave who were so much fun and so patient throughout the day. Hair and makeup was by the amazing Livvy of Makeup and Nails by Olivia, dress by Agapé Bridal Boutique and such a stunning flower arrangement and buttonhole by the talented Sian at The Flower Lounge in Didsbury.
Here are my favourite images from the day x
